The Literature, Publishing and Translation Authority invited the public to register electronically to obtain free entry tickets to the Medina Book Fair, which is organized by the Authority, from July 30 to August 5, behind the King Salman International Convention and Exhibition Center.
The electronic registration feature allows the public to obtain a quick response code (QR Code) through a confirmation message that they receive via email, so that they can quickly enter the exhibition and attend various activities.
Electronic registration contributes to speeding up the entry process and saving time in the registration process on the exhibition site. It also enables organizers to enhance the efficiency and speed of registering the expected large numbers of visitors, identify the categories of visitors electronically and easily, and communicate with them proactively in the future to attend cultural events that are in line with their interests.
The third edition of the Medina Book Fair begins with the participation of more than 300 Arab and international publishing houses and agencies distributed over more than 200 pavilions, and includes an expanded cultural program through many cultural and intellectual activities and events, including dialogue sessions, workshops, and poetry evenings.
The exhibition is a unique cultural and cognitive opportunity for all family members, as this year coincides with the school summer vacation, giving male and female students the opportunity to acquire and read various book titles and publications to develop their skills and knowledge. It also allocates a large space for children to provide educational and skill activities and workshops that enhance the child’s creative abilities, in addition to the various cultural activities that the exhibition presents in an entertaining and literary format that encourages reading and learning, and enhances the intellectual and educational gains of future leaders.
