His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Governor of Medina, made an inspection visit to the Quranic circles and scientific texts at the Prophet’s Mosque, in the presence of the General Supervisor of the circles, Imam and preacher of the Prophet’s Mosque, His Eminence Sheikh Abdulmohsen bin Mohammed Al-Qassim.
During the tour, His Royal Highness the Governor of the region was briefed on the circles, which host about 50,000 male and female students attending in-person throughout the year, in addition to Quranic studies and receiving its sciences through online circles, supervised by more than 1,100 male and female teachers. Circles have also been designated for students who are deaf, mute, or blind, with 148 male and female students enrolled in these circles.
The General Supervisor of the memorization circles and scientific texts at the Prophet’s Mosque also presented an overview of the diverse age groups benefiting from the services of the circles, which include children, youth, and seniors, according to the teaching, memorization, and revision curriculum, up to obtaining a license from this edifice that provides its services to Saudi participants in addition to male and female students of various nationalities, with 100% automated techniques in various transactions. There are also circles designated for gifted male and female students, with a total of 1,196 members.
It is worth noting that the memorization circles and scientific texts at the Prophet’s Mosque graduated 580 male and female students in memorization during the previous year 2022, while the number of licenses issued in the Quran reached 1260, and 15,625 male and female students were licensed in the Prophetic Sunnah and scientific texts.
